Typhoon Champi leaves dozens dead and hundreds injured in Taiwan

Taiwan reports one fatality and a large number of injuries after Typhoon Champi passed, with reports ranging from 527 injuries to "hundreds" injured. The storm, formerly a super typhoon, generated wind gusts of about 126 km/h near its centre.
