Discord to expose public server messages to search engines
Discord will let search engines index messages from its public Discoverable Servers starting in mid-December 2026, according to the company. The platform says more than 63,000 such servers host discussions on topics such as gaming, fandoms and language learning. From 16 November 2026, each Discoverable Server will get a public web page with automated summaries of active channel conversations. Usernames and avatars will not appear on published messages. Private servers, direct messages and group direct messages are excluded.
