An Aer Lingus Airbus A320 flying Dublin to Rome landed safely at the Evreux airbase in Normandy after a bomb alert, French authorities say. All 151 passengers and six crew are safe, and a French fighter jet escorted the plane while military bomb-defusal teams inspect it. At least ten other European passenger flights were also diverted after bomb threats, including a Finnair service from Helsinki escorted to Rome. Czech police cleared four aircraft bound for Prague, finding no explosives. Police in France have opened an investigation after the pilot resisted diversion orders.

Around twenty aircraft were disrupted by false bomb threats on Friday, prompting diversions, emergency landings and fighter escorts, but no devices were discovered. The threats targeted airports in Rome, Prague, Copenhagen, French airspace and Lisbon, affecting flights to and from Bulgaria, Italy, the United Kingdom and other destinations. Authorities in Italy, Denmark, the Czech Republic, France and Spain say the warnings were likely part of a coordinated hybrid campaign, while the UK government labels them malicious hoaxes.

Attackers remotely altered refrigeration controls in supermarkets in at least 11 countries over three weeks, causing cooling units to heat up and food to spoil. Freezer temperatures reached as high as 55 °C, and at least one ICA store in Sjöbo, Sweden, set units to 50 °C. Affected chains include Carrefour, Intermarche, Delhaize, Spar, Colruyt and Ikea. EU officials called the campaign a deliberate attempt to disrupt the food supply and named no country or group. The Kremlin denied involvement, and pro-Russia hacker groups Noname057(16) and Z-Pentest Alliance posted claims of responsibility. Millions of euros of frozen goods were lost.
